Welcome to Our Newly Remodeled Website!

This website has been developed to help you understand the Word of God, the Holy Bible. We believe that the Word of God holds the keys to a peaceful, fruitful, joyful life. Jesus said that the "truth shall make you free." As you walk with Jesus and learn what the Word of God teaches you will find a new found freedom in your life.

Some of the teachings on this website may be unlike any you have ever heard. Let me encourage you to keep an open mind and also to search out what is being taught here to see if it lines up with the Bible or not. If you have problems with any of the lessons and don't agree. Send me scriptures and we can discuss your differences. Many of the lessons contained in this website will step on the toes of traditional Christianity. Jesus said that the "tradition of man makes the commandment of God of no effect." It is time to get rid of tradition and believe what the Word of God really says!

Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16

Remember What God Has Done For You!

Many of you may remember the story of Moses and how he led the Israelites out of Egypt. If you haven’t read the story in the Bible, you have probably seen the movie. What should have been about a week’s walk ended up being a forty year trek through the desert.

There were an estimated three million Israelites. You would think they would have been happy to be out of slavery in Egypt but almost immediately they began to whine and complain. Because of their complaining God didn’t let any of the people over twenty years old, except for Joshua and Caleb, go into the Promised Land. That is why they spent forty years in the desert. They had to wait for the last of those people to die. Why did Joshua and Caleb get to go into the Promised Land when even Moses and Aaron, the leaders of the Israelites, not get to go? When the Israelites got to the Promised Land, they were ordered by the Lord to send some spies in to check the land out, to see what they were up against. Twelve men were chosen and among those men were Joshua and Caleb. When the spies went into the land, there were literal giants there. Imagine seeing men that twelve and thirteen feet tall! Even the plants that grew there were huge. They came back and gave a report of grapes that were so big that a bunch of grapes had to be transported on a pole carried on the shoulders of two men. Ten of the spies said the giants were too big to be conquered and the Israelites had no chance against them. But Joshua and Caleb remembered what God had done for them, how He had delivered them from Egypt and the hand of Pharaoah and how God led them by a pillar of smoke by day and pillar of fire by night. They trusted God and God honored their faith!

There was a certain time that the people of Israel needed water and they were complaining. Moses didn’t know what to do so he asked God. There was a rock there and God told him to hit the rock with his staff. When Moses obeyed God’s command, water gushed out of the rock. A few years later, the same situation occurred. The people needed water and were complaining again. Moses sought the Lord and this time God told him to speak to a rock. But, instead of speaking to the rock, Moses struck the rock. Water came forth but because he did not obey God, God told him that he would get to see the Promised Land but would die before getting to enter into it.

How many times do we see God do miraculous things in our lives? How many times do we hear God speak to us? Then how many times do we come up against giants in our lives and we give a report like those ten other spies? We look at the giants and decide they are too big. They are too big for God. When we come across those Giants, we need to slow down and put ourselves in remembrance of what God has done. Remember how He has led us by His Spirit! Remember how He has never let us down! Remember the miracles that He has performed in our lives and in our family’s lives, then, we can give a good report like Joshua and Caleb did and then, we can enter into the Promised Land just like they did!

Psalm 105:5
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced
