Welcome to Our Newly Remodeled Website!

This website has been developed to help you understand the Word of God, the Holy Bible. We believe that the Word of God holds the keys to a peaceful, fruitful, joyful life. Jesus said that the "truth shall make you free." As you walk with Jesus and learn what the Word of God teaches you will find a new found freedom in your life.

Some of the teachings on this website may be unlike any you have ever heard. Let me encourage you to keep an open mind and also to search out what is being taught here to see if it lines up with the Bible or not. If you have problems with any of the lessons and don't agree. Send me scriptures and we can discuss your differences. Many of the lessons contained in this website will step on the toes of traditional Christianity. Jesus said that the "tradition of man makes the commandment of God of no effect." It is time to get rid of tradition and believe what the Word of God really says!

Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16

Trust in God

Hebrews 10:35, 36 New Life Version (NLV)

35 Do not throw away your trust, for your reward will be great. 36 You must be willing to wait without giving up. After you have done what God wants you to do, God will give you what He promised you.

Have you been believing God for something but it just seems like He didn’t hear you and He hasn’t answered your prayer? Well, we all go through that and let me assure you, God DOES hear your prayers! God wants us to trust in Him. In fact, we are told that having faith in Him or trusting Him is the way we please Him! God tells us that when we trust Him, our reward will be great but if you don’t receive it immediately after you pray, don’t give up! Do what God wants you to do, then, wait for Him to bring the promised answer to you.

Doing what God wants you to do may be as simple as asking Him for what you need in prayer and then waiting for Him to bring it to you. It may be that God wants you to go to someone and make something right with them. God will show you what you need to do.

Matthew 7:7-11 New International Version

Ask, Seek, Knock

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.  9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Somewhere along the line, we, as Christians, got the idea that we have to keep begging God to get Him to answer our prayers. The Bible is clear that we don’t have to do that! So many Christians cry and whine and grovel. That is all just a sign of your unbelief! We ask and we will receive. We seek and we will find. We knock and the door will be opened. This all happens in God’s time. I’ve gotten frustrated before and cried out, “God, my time is not like Your time!” But we have to realize that God’s time is the perfect time!

Daniel prayed once and twenty-one days later, Michael, the archangel, brought the answer to Daniel’s prayer (Dan 10:12,13). The answer was dispatched the very day Daniel prayed but he waited, like we are instructed to do, and the answer was delivered in God’s time.

God is better than the very best earthly Father. When you ask Him for something you need or desire, believe you will receive it. If you are seeking something from God, believe you will find it. If you knock on God’s door believe He will open it! When you realize that God will always come through, in His time, you will find that there is no more need to worry! You may not always understand what God is doing but you can trust that His perfect will, will be done in your life if you are doing what He requires of you and you are trusting in Him!
