Jack Murrel McMullan

Jack Murrel McMullan was born in Erick, Oklahoma, the third child to Hubert Newton and Martha Ann "Nettie" McMullan. He married Glenna Rose Vitato on 25 Jun 1955 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Jack worked first, as a carpenter in Erick and Sayre, Oklahoma. Later he owned his own painting business in Spearman, Texas. He loved riding motorcycles and traveled all over the United States on his motorcycles.

Jack and Glenna had three children:

David Bruce McMullan 4 Dec 1956 Erick, Beckham County, Oklahoma - 3 Aug 1978 Spearman, Hansford County, Texas. Died from testicular cancer and carcinoma in Spearman, Texas. After high school he worked for Sears in Amarillo, Texas. Later he went to work for Iowa Beef Processors and became a manager.

Jay Scott McMullan 25 Oct 1959 Shamrock, Wheeler County, Texas - Living. Worked in the oil industry then for GTE (now Verizon) and the North Plains Water Conservation District. He also owned a photography business in Spearman, Texas shooting mostly portraits and weddings. He did crime scene photography for the Hansford County, Texas Sheriff's Department. Later he attended Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma from 1984 to 1986. He pastored churches in Lamar, Colorado, Cuero, Texas, Friendswood, Texas and Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He worked for Amoco Oil Company starting in April 1990 in Texas City, Texas. Amoco became BP Amoco, later BP. He transferred to the Salt Lake City refinery in June 1993. The Salt Lake refinery was later owned by Tesoro, Andeaver and now Marathon Petroleum. He took a medical retirement in February 2008 due to injuries sustained in a fall from climbing a pole when working for GTE in 1978 near Tecumseh, Oklahoma. He moved to Winter Garden, Florida in December 2008.

Kerry Todd McMullan 28 Apr 1962 Shamrock, Wheeler County, Texas - Living. Worked in the oil industry as a diesel mechanic in Spearman, Texas and later in Portland, Texas. Later worked as a prison guard in Lubbock and Lamesa, Texas. He taught high school auto mechanics in Lamesa and Hutto, Texas.
