UPDATE May 16, 1999
On
May 15, 1999, I made another trip down to the Green River missle
base or R-6413. I found no evidence of any new activity but
did find a new chain that had been put on the entrance gate.
When I originally photographed the missle base I didn't have
a flash with me so I did not photograph the inside of the control
room. On this trip I did get some photos from inside the control
room. You will see that it is heavily vandalized. I also stopped
in the town of Green River to photograph a full scale model
of the original Athena rockets that were fired from the complex.
Here is, what appears to be, a new chain on the entrance gate into the missle base.

This is the rocket and the plaque that are at the city park in Green River, Utah.
