Rectangles stacked every other one
About three times as many as the years I’ve done
Cinderblock walls, for years they’ve held me in
If I ever get back, I’ll never come back again, again
Steel bars always blocking my view
Been here so long, its hard to think of you
If I could squeeze through the bars and get away
I’d never let them put me here again, no way, no way
You know I’m as guilty as the day is long
And I know what I did was surely wrong
If I ever get a break and get another shot
I’m gonna be good and respect what I’ve got
Prison life really ain’t that bad
After this many years its hard to remember what I had
Camping in the desert is my biggest dream
To get outta here, I’d do anything, anything
Cinderblock walls, heavy steal bars
Gorgeous long haired woman and a really fast car
Gotta get out, gotta make a break
Life without parole is more than I can take, can take
