They called the man Moses
‘Cause no one knew his name
:Long gray hair and a dirty beard
And he walked without a cane

His old black suit had seen better days
And his shoes were full of holes
Some people, they laughed him to scorn
But the others, he saved their souls He’d raise his hands to heaven
And say, “Get right with the man!”
“He let them nail Him to the cross,
He gave his life and His blood ran.”“If you’ll pray with me right now
He’ll meet you where you are
He’ll wipe away all your sin
And your life can have a fresh start.”They found Moses underneath a park bench
A heavenly smile was etched upon his face
The Lord called him to his heavenly home
Now I know he's in a better place

I think about Moses every now and then
When I do, I stop and I bow my head
I lift my hands to heaven, Lord, you know I’m weak
Please open my eyes, let me hear you speak
I wanna live my life just like you did
Let my life be a living sacrifice

You laid yours down for me
